Caffeine E-Liquid – New Caffeine Inhalers Introduced Across the US

These caffeine vapes don’t use standard e-liquids; instead they use a mix including guarana (for its natural caffeine content), taurine and ginseng as the active ingredients. They do work in a similar way to e-cigarettes however, using an atomiser to turn the “caffeine e-liquid” to vapour. The $8.99 devices are disposable and apparently last for around 500 hits. The inhalers only contain around 2 milligrams of caffeine compared to the 150mg in a normal cup of coffee. Eagle Energy Vapor says 20 hits from the device is the right amount to achieve a buzz. Elliot Mashford, the Canadian entrepreneur behind Eagle Energy Vapor has said that the idea for the device was to “take everything great about an energy drink, remove the bad and use innovative technology that delivers caffeine faster and without any calories or sugar” He also said that the inhalers are “for when you’re on the chairlift skiing, when you’re hiking, when you’re driving in the car.” There are some health questions surrounding caffeine inhalers, just as there are with normal e-cigs. However, the Food and Drug Administration has said that they have not yet assessed the safety of Eagle Energy vaporisers.
