We're excited to launch our brand new range of e-liquids - LiQuid CBD. We've been hard at work developing a CBD vape juice product built on the fantastic flavours we've created for our core range of liquids.
We produce CBD e-liquid available in two strengths, 100mg and 300mg, as well as a CBD shot.
Our LiQuid CBD Shot is suitable for use with standard 50ml shortfill bottles, allowing you to mix CBD with your favourite shortfill flavours.
With CBD vape juice being such a new development in the vaping world, it can be quite confusing to decide what's best for you. We want to make sure you get the right information before you buy, so we’ve put together this article which covers some of the basics of CBD.
Our LiQuid CBD vape juice range has been tested to ensure it can be safely vaped in most e-cigarettes and should be used in the same way as your normal e-liquid. CBD can react if in contact with water or high VG e-liquids, causing clouding or crystallisation. If your device is also used for vaping nicotine based e-liquids, we strongly recommend cleaning your tank, ensuring it is thoroughly dried and that the coil has been replaced prior to filling with LiQuid CBD e juice. Should you notice any change in your CBD e-liquid whilst in your tank, this is likely due to cross-contamination. Should this occur, please repeat the prior steps and ensure your tank is completely clean and dry before re-filling.
CBD is short for Cannabidiol, which is one of over a hundred naturally occurring molecules found in the hemp plant. These molecules are known as “Cannabinoids” - the most famous of which is THC. THC is the criminalised cannabinoid responsible for the infamous psychoactive effects of cannabis. CBD is not to be confused with THC, as it does NOT produce any kind of “high”. In fact, it has been shown to be non-psychoactive, non-addictive and can even lessen the effects of THC.
CBD will NOT make you feel “stoned”!
While CBD’s potential is still yet to be fully understood, it is being studied in relation to a wide variety of issues that many of us deal with every day. It has famously been reported to help sufferers of seizures, but ongoing research suggests that it may be able to positively affect sufferers of other conditions, such as:
With so many different conditions being studied, you might be wondering how CBD could possibly influence them all.
Throughout our bodies is a network of receptors that interact specifically with Cannabinoids like CBD, this is called the Endocannabinoid System. These receptors are found in many of our organs and when correctly stimulated help to maintain our natural internal chemistry. The impact regulating this system can have upon our bodies ability to deal with ailments is the driving curiosity behind the studies.
The Endocannabinoid system is comprised of 2 types of receptor; CB1 receptors are found primarily in the brain and central nervous system, while CB2 receptors are found in the immune system, digestive tract, pancreas and spleen. When CBD is absorbed into the bloodstream, it appears to interact with other receptors that allow CB1 and CB2 receptors to function more consistently. This indirect effect is theorised to allow CBD to work more efficiently in an effort to restore our chemical balance.
CBD products can take a number of forms, some with more than one type of cannabinoid (as in Broad-Spectrum Oil) and some using an Isolate form of CBD, as used in our LiQuid CBD e-liquids. CBD Isolate is a pure form of CBD which is added to our e-liquid blends as a crystalline powder.
It all begins with the hemp plant. The plant material undergoes an initial extraction process which turns it into full-spectrum oil, which contains a range of synergistic cannabinoids, lipids (fats) and waxes naturally found in the plant. It is then further refined using a patented distillation process all the way down to a single crystallised CBD molecule. Using this method, we’re able to verify 99.9% purity, with absolutely zero THC or any other unwanted cannabinoids or chemicals. This leaves us with an incredibly pure, tasteless CBD powder which is the ideal match for our e-liquids.
We’ve spent a lot of time researching the best CBD Isolate to use and are partnered with the most reputable suppliers. We’re excited to offer our isolate products, manufactured with the same care and attention to detail as all of our other vape liquid products, all at a fantastic price.
Coming from the USA, an industry-leading country in CBD production, the hemp plants used by our suppliers naturally produce a far higher level of CBD than the more commonly used European hemp. Having such a high concentration of CBD from the start means far less wastage in the production process and results in an extremely highly refined isolate. There’s no need to use harsh solvents or chemicals in this process, so we’re absolutely confident in our CBD e-liquid’s purity and safety.
Our lab’s verification of the finished product speaks for itself - it confirms that our finished product contains 99.33% CBD and absolutely 0% THC.
This depends very much on the individual. What might your needs be with CBD? We’ve had some fantastic feedback from existing CBD customers reporting positive effects in a number of areas. We always recommend further research to find out if CBD might be beneficial for your needs.
When there are so many ways to have CBD, why should I vape it in a CBD e-liquid?
Vaping remains one of the most effective ways to take CBD as it is absorbed into the bloodstream very quickly, with up to 80% of the total CBD content of an e-liquid is absorbed when vaped. Our careful planning and meticulous production techniques mean we can produce high-grade e-liquids at a low cost, which we’re happy to pass onto our fantastic LiQuid customers. Don’t forget, we don’t add nicotine into our CBD e-liquids!
What about the health effects of CBD?
There have been absolutely no recorded negative effects caused by overuse of CBD – however it is important to know what your body can handle. Your natural blood/brain barrier is only able to absorb 200mg of CBD every 24 hours.
There are no defined dosage recommendations for CBD – this is ultimately dependent on the user’s needs. Consideration of your personal goals is vital when trying CBD – we recommend starting with the lowest available dose and working upwards, increasing the base strength or frequency of use until the desired effect has been achieved.
CBD is never a replacement for medication prescribed by a doctor or pharmacist. If you’re not sure if you should be taking CBD, always consult a medical professional, especially if you’re already receiving medication.
