Sales of e-cigarettes continue to grow

In June, the electronic cigarette industry crossed the threshold of $6 billion in annual sales worldwide – a huge milestone for the relatively new trade. As more and more smokers eschew the use of traditional cigarettes in favour of safer, cheaper methods such as e-cigs, the tobacco industry is slowly realising that this is a problem that will not go away any time soon. It was believed that the sweet flavours and packaging of e-cigarettes and e-liquid could be attracting young people into vaping who wouldn’t ordinarily have smoked. This has lead to the belief that vaping is a ‘gateway’ into traditional smoking habits. The study interviewed a number of young people in Scotland who were a mix of current and former... Read More

Essentially, whichever format of e-cigarette is used, they all have one thing in common and that is the inclusion of an atomizer.   So, exactly what is an atomizer?
