The Wenax Q2 is one of their latest, prioritising strong performance and a fashionable aesthetic. In the same line as other popular devices such as the Sonder Q2 and Wenax Pro, it combines ease of use with powerful tech and a fresh appearance.
It has a 1,250 mAh battery, which should last most vapers a full day of vaping. Heavier vapers may be cut very slightly short, but with fast charging, you should be able to amend it quite easily.

How Does It Look & Feel?
A standout with the Wenax Q2 is the leather paired with metal look. Mixed with a range of stylistically fitting colour options.
As well as adding a stylish flair, the leather grip feels comfortable during use and is a refreshing take on vape kit decor. The combination of this with the metallic top makes for a luxurious looking kit.
Similarly, the screen fits into the design exceedingly well, being incremented into the metallic part. This screen allows you to navigate any device functions, such as power settings, menu themes and any other functional benefits.
The kit looks and feels like a standard enough pod kit, not too light nor heavy, and fits perfectly in your bag or pocket with room for extras.
All in all, I'd say the Wenax Q2 performs strong in both appearance and handling in use.
Is It Easy To Use?
Although the device allows for variable wattage, Smart Mode allows any vaper of any mode to use the kit without knowledge of wattage variation, by simply inserting a pod and allowing the recommended settings to work.
The 0.6ohm coil already equipped with the device worked great with the pre-set wattage, though upon changing some settings, you can definitely find your preferred level with enough tweaking.
The device screen communicates wattage in a simple manner, making it simple to keep up with where your device is at.
While the Wenax Q2 has the option of being a complex kit to use, in general, it's very easy to use with the Smart Mode and base functions, with room to delve further into personalisation.
There is also an airflow valve on the side of the device which similarly, can be left alone, or tweaked to fit personal preference.
Setting Up: How To Use Q Vape Pods
The Wenax Q2 arrives with two pods available: a 0.6ohm coil equipped to the battery and a 0.8ohm coil in the box.
To get started with the GeekVape Wenax Q2 vape kit, follow these steps:
- Remove the pre-attached pod from the Wenax Q2 device. Be sure to remove the protective sticker on the bottom.
- Remove the mouthpiece to reveal a top-fill port.
- Pop the top of your e-liquid bottle into the filling valve.
- Gently squeeze the bottle to fill the Q pod, taking care not to overfill.
- Put the mouthpiece back in place, re-covering the battery.
- Put the pod back into your battery; allow it to absorb for a minute or two. Once finished, it's ready for use.

The Best E-Liquids To Use With The Wenax Q2
The Wenax Q2 works perfectly with a range of e-liquid types, though you will need to use the appropriate pod for the best experience.
Freebase 50/50 e-liquid works best with:
- 0.8ohm Q Pod
- 1.2ohm Q Pod
50/50 nic salt e-liquid works best with:
- 0.6ohm Q Pod
- 0.8ohm Q pod
High-VG e-liquid isn't compatible with the Wenax Q2, instead you should try a device with higher wattage and lower ohm coils.
The Wenax Q2 works great with nic salt e-liquids, especially due to it's high 30W output. Nic salts will taste much punchier and be notably more impactful than freebase.
I'd recommend trying nic salt e-liquid with this device if you like disposable vapes.
Freebase e-liquid works great with the Wenax Q2, though in my experience, you'll get more bang for your buck with nic salts.
Navigating The Wenax Q2's Menu & Modes
The Wenax Q2 has a Smart Mode, which automatically adjusts wattage output as soon as you insert a pod. Therefore, even for beginner level vapers, this device is relatively easy to navigate from the get-go.
It also has variable wattage, meaning if you want to tweak wattage to specific amounts, or experiment, you're more than able to do so. Wattage can be increased and decreased in 1W increments.
Using the 0.6ohm coil included with the device with Red Apple nic salts, there was a notable boost in flavour. This was made even more intense when turning the wattage up higher. Using it at max wattage gave a very strong hit, which may not be suited for everyone, but definitely should satisfy most vapers.
In general, the Smart Mode outputs sufficed well enough for me, and when using the Wenax Q2 I mostly stuck to the pre-selected wattages that came with the Smart Mode, nonetheless, variable wattage is nice to have.
Wenax Q2 Battery Life & Charging
At 1,250 mAh, the Wenax Q2 has a strong battery that should last most vapers a full day. Using the device at a higher wattage and vaping heavily may drain it before a day, but with fast charging features, you'll rarely find yourself rushing for a charger.
The device's screen communicates battery life effectively, so I consistently knew where my battery was at throughout use and could plan ahead where necessary.
Overall though, the battery life is good enough for this kind of kit, and I found myself rarely being cut short whilst vaping.
Should You Buy The Wenax Q2 Vape Kit By GeekVape?
I would recommend this kit to most vapers. The Smart Mode makes it accessible to newer vapers, while the higher wattage, airflow options and variable wattage allow more advanced vapers to tailor the device to the specific standards they want.
It performs well at what it does, has a strong range of coil options and is a comfortable kit to hold and carry. As well as this, there's a good range of colour designs for people who like their vape to equally work as an accessory.
