The Best Kits for 50-50 Vape Juice
50-50 freebase e-liquids are best used with starter kits, pod systems, and vape pens that use coils above 1.0Ω. These kits typically operate at lower power (wattage) levels and balance moderate vapour production with flavour to better manage the throat-hits typical of higher-strength freebase nicotine options.

The Best Kits for High-V Vape Juice:
80-20 high-VG (HVG) vape juice is thicker than 50-50, because they contain much more VG. This makes them smoother and they produce a lot of vapour which enhances flavour. They are only available in lower strengths of 3mg and 6mg as it would be too harsh to inhale such a large cloud of high-strength freebase nicotine. Due to their thickness, they are better suited to higher-powered 'sub-ohm' vape kits using coils/pods rated 0.8ohm or below.

Our Recommendation:
Many modern pod vape systems offer pods for both 50-50 and HVG e-liquids, like the Xros Pro 2, giving you more flexibility. However, our vaping experts prefer to use a dedicated sub-ohm vape kit like the Vaporesso Luxe XR Max which has the power to really make the most of them.

We cannot avoid the reality that, once the UK vape duty is enforced from October 2026, our e-liquids will no longer be £1.

We are confident, however, that despite the mandatory price increases the vape duty will bring, our range will remain one of the cheapest e-liquid options for our customers.

This is because the duty is calculated based on the volume of e-liquid, not the current base price. As our base prices are among the cheapest in the UK now, they will cost less than most others after the tax.

The duty costs will be added to our £1 base price per 10ml bottle, vs the circa £3-£5 base price of other brands.
