My Honest Take on the Vaporesso Vibe Kit

I recently got my hands on the Vaporesso Vibe kit, and I wanted to share my thoughts with you all. I've been a big fan of Vaporesso for years and in the run up to trying out the Vibe, I've been using the Xros 4. I was really keen to see how it matched up to the Xros range.

If you're anything like me, sometimes you just want something simple, reliable, and not overly complicated. That's exactly what the Vibe promises, so I was keen to see how it held up in real life.

There are 4 different options in the Vaporesso Vibe series. There are the Vibe, Vibe Nano Pro, Vibe SE and Vibe Nano Pro. I've opted for the standard Vibe, as I prefer it's pen style form, compared to the Vibe Nano and Vibe Nano Pro, that have rectangular bodies.

Getting Started With The Vaporesso Vibe

First off, pulling it out of the box, it feels pretty solid and well-made. It's compact and fits nicely in my hand, which is a big plus for me as my vape rarely leaves my grip. Even though it has a screen, it still has a clean, minimalist design. This immediately felt like a win for those days when you just want to grab your vape and head out without fiddling around.

Alongside the device, the box contains one pod. It's a little disappointing not to get an extra replacement pod but if the improved lifespan advertised is to be believed, then it's not the end of the world. There was no charging cable included, which to be honest, I was happy about. I already have USB-C cables in every draw in my house so don't really need another one!

Vaporesso Vibe Pod Refill

Setting this thing up is a breeze. You just pop the pod in, lift the little rubber stopper on the side, fill it up with your e-liquid (I've been using it with LiQuid Lemon, Peach, Passionfruit Nic Salt which works perfectly), and then you just inhale. That's it. No buttons to press, no menus to navigate. The inhale activation is super responsive, which I really appreciate.

Vaporesso Vibe Power Mode

The neatest trick is the little switch on the side. This lets you swap between two power modes: ECO (14W) and PWR (24W). It's a simple idea, but it genuinely changes the feel of the vape. ECO gives you a tighter, more classic MTL (Mouth To Lung) draw, which is great for a discreet vape that feels similar to a cigarette. Flicking it to PWR opens things up a bit, giving you a looser RDTL (Restricted Direct To Lung) inhale and a bit more vapour. It's not a huge difference, but it's enough to let you tailor the experience slightly, depending on your mood. I generally stuck to the PWR mode, as I enjoyed the additional power. Although, I was torn between trying to preserve the coil lifespan with ECO mode and vaping how I prefer.

Vaporesso Vibe Eco Mode

The battery life has been impressive for its size. The 1100mAh battery (built-in) lasts most of the day for me and I would consider myself quite a heavy vaper. When it does need charging, the USB-C port is super convenient, and it charges up pretty quickly. There's a little indicator light that gives you a rough idea of where the battery level is at, which is handy.

How Does It Stack Up? Comparing the Vibe to Other Vape Kits

Okay, so how does the Vaporesso Vibe compare if you're looking at other popular options out there? Let's look at a few that you might be considering: the Oxva Xlim Pro, the Vaporesso Xros 4, and the Smok Nord 5.

In a nutshell: If you prioritise ultimate simplicity, a buttonless design, a large e-liquid capacity, and don't mind having just two power modes, the Vaporesso Vibe is a fantastic choice. If you prefer having more control over your wattage and airflow, then the Xlim Pro might be more up your alley. The Smok Nord 5 is a different category entirely, geared towards DTL vaping.

The Pods and Vaping Experience

The pods themselves hold 2ml of e-liquid and have a built-in dual mesh coil. This is where the "low maintenance" part really comes in. When the coil starts to taste a bit burnt or muted, you just swap out the whole pod for a new one. No messy coil changes! The side-filling port is also really easy to use – much better than some bottom-fill systems I've dealt with before.

Flavour-wise, I've been pleasantly surprised. The dual mesh coils seem to do a great job of bringing out the nuances in my e-liquids. It's not the most intense flavour I've ever had from a vape, but it's clean, consistent, and satisfying, especially for an MTL focused device. The 0.8 Ohm pod that came with my kit provides a really nice, smooth MTL draw.

When the 0.8 Ohm pod is in ECO mode, it operates at that level. When the switch is flicked, in PWR mode, it switches to 0.6 Ohm. This dual mode feature, is one of the best things about the Vaporesso Vibe.
