What Is A Pen Vape?

What Vape Juice Can I Use?

Pen vape kits are designed for new vapers who have recently quit smoking, therefore you're going to need to use a vape juice that has a nicotine strength relative to the amount of nicotine you'd previously gotten from smoking cigarettes. 

We highly recommend using a vape juice which has been mixed at a 50-50 VG/PG ratio. You can get these vape juices in a variety of flavours as well as nicotine strengths, and also ones that are made using different types of nicotine.

Freebase nicotine vape juice is available in 3mg, 6mg, 12mg and 18mg. These will give a cigarette like feel on the inhale, with a punchy throat hit from the PG as well as the nicotine. 

Nicotine salt vape juices can also be used in pen vape kits, and are proving to be the more preferred vape juice of choice amongst vapers in current day. Nicotine salts are a great vape juice to use if you've recently quit smoking as the nicotine salt provides a faster absorption rate than what Freebase nicotine does, and is replicant of the absorption time from when you inhale a cigarette.

What Style Of Vaping Can I Do With Pen Vape Kits?

Most pen vape kits will use coils which are 1.0ohm or higher. And the style of vaping most commonly associated with these coils is Mouth To Lung. 

This style of vaping is perfect for new vapers who are transitioning away from smoking as it will replicate the feeling previously gotten from inhaling on a cigarette. 

What Coils Do These Kits Use?

As mentioned above, pen vape kits normally use coils which are 1.0ohm or higher. Some pen vapes will use slightly lower ohm coils such as 0.8ohm or 0.9ohm but never normally lower than this. 

If you get a pen vape which use pods as apposed to a tank, the coils may already be preinstalled within the vape pods meaning you won't have to get your hands messy with vape juice when changing coils.
